Francisco Hidalgo was a prominent figure in the history of Mexico. He was a lawyer, politician, and revolutionary who played a significant role in the Mexican War of Independence. Hidalgo was born on May 3, 1753, in San Felipe Torres Mochas, a small town in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico.
